JAMES G. GROSSJames G. Gross practices appellate law primarily in the areas of insurance coverage and personal injury defense. In the past 40 years, he has litigated more than 500 appeals in the Michigan and federal courts, a great many of them involving the No-Fault Act. On behalf of his insurance clients, he has won 19 published Michigan Supreme Court Decisions and 39 published opinions in the Michigan Court of Appeals. Early in his career, Mr. Gross served as the Court of Appeals' assistant digest editor, as a prehearing attorney, and as law clerk to Hon. Daniel F. Walsh. He is a member of several state and national bar associations, a past president of the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel, and one of five Michigan fellows of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers. Mr. Gross was named a Michigan Lawyers Weekly "Lawyer of the Year" for 2006, and "Michigan Super Lawyer". He has been a regular faculty member for ICLE's annual no-fault update seminars.
